After spending the bulk of his career in semiconductor, Bill moved into the leading edge B2B software space. He does fractional business development for startups including enterprise sales, enterprise partnerships, pursuing capital raises, and setting strategic msging, product positioning & market targeting. Over the past 10yrs he’s worked in ML, edge intelligence, process intelligence, quantum, and AI. One of his current technologies is going after the issues of AI overloading our already overloaded electric grid & as well rapidly driving up cloud bills. This superior AI training technology has been getting alot of attention on Capitol Hill & at the White House where Bill has lead numerous briefings. It’s currently under evaluation at one of the world’s largest GPU clusters where it’s showing reductions in AI training compute time (electricity consumption, cloud consumption, GPU count, capital cost, etc) of 5x – 10x, along w/ 2x reductions in inferencing compute time, all while enabling higher accuracy & better model results, So not only no tradeoffs to get efficiency but actually more accuracy & better results than the models can achieve without this technology.
