Sandra Saldana is the CEO and Co-Founder of Alva Health, a MedTech company that is developing a wearable device for the detection of neurological injury and stroke, for people living with cardiovascular disease and chronic risk of stroke. Sandra is a scientist by training with a lifelong interest and passion to improve human health through the development, application and commercialization of innovative technologies. Sandra has completed a B.A. in biological sciences at Cornell University, a Ph.D. in cancer biology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and an MBA in health care management at the Yale School of Management.
