Salah Boukadoum is a social entrepreneur, philanthropist, speaker, and thought leader in
the field of impact investing and sustainable philanthropy. He serves as CEO of Good
Returns Group, a social enterprise incubator, and as Chief Impact Officer of the Sapphire
Foundation, a $33 million family foundation based in Dallas, Texas with a focus on
developing and scaling positive-return solutions to community challenges. Salah
developed the Elevate capital platform, designed to simplify collaboration and capital
deployment for impact investors and foundations. He is also a professor for Social Impact
Investing at SMU.
In addition to his executive roles, Salah serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Miles of
Freedom, a Dallas nonprofit empowering individuals, families, and communities who have
been impacted by incarceration. He is Chairman of the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation.
Prior to his engagement in sustainable social impact models, Salah was CEO of a
technology startup, leading its growth to 60 people and its acquisition by a public
company. Originally a classically-trained pianist, Salah still enjoys performing music to
support local nonprofit organizations.
