Jared Jordan joined Capital One in March 2024 as Managing Vice President of Consumer Identity, Consumer Data, and Marketing & Messaging. Prior to Capital One, Jared was Director of Engineering for Gmail experiences at Google. In this role, Jared spearheaded engineering and innovation efforts across both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences for billions of users worldwide. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in software engineering, Jared’s expertise extends across companies such as Google, Netflix, Evernote, and Motorola.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Jared is deeply committed to shaping the future of engineering education. He serves on the board for the University of Washington, where he provides valuable insights and guidance, contributing to the advancement of the College of Engineering.
Personally, he’s an avid reader, working on his golf game, married with 3 children, and has 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. He is based in our Plano office.
