Tyrus Sanders

Mr. Sanders currently serves as Regions Bank, Executive V.P. Dallas Market Executive
and Commercial Banking Leader
Mr. Sanders is responsible for leading the Regions 360 Initiatives across all Lines of Business.
Serves as Market President of Dallas in addition, he is responsible for a team of Commercial
Bankers who delivers banking services to Commercial Clients and Prospects with sales up to
$250mm in sales revenue.
Regions Bank SBA Director, Executive V.P. November 2018 – July 2020
Mr. Sanders was responsible for developing and implementing SBA Strategies, Driving SBA
Loan Production, ensuring seamless handoffs and communication, and building the Regions
Bank SBA Brand. We currently have twenty-five SBA Bankers across the company, and we
have thirty-nine SBA Operations Associates. The SBA Team has generated over $25mm in top
line revenue.
Regions Bank – Government and Institutional Banking Director – Mid America July 2016
– November 2018
Responsible for delivering banking services to Cities, Counties, Education providers,
Transportation HUBS, Government Backed Utilities and Non – Profits. Managed Relationship
Mangers in seven states and delivered those services in ten states.
Reported to Regional President who was responsible for all Banking Services.
Regions Bank – Business Banking Executive – November 2008 – July 2016
Mr. Sanders was responsible for delivery of credit, deposit, and other banking services to
Business Banking customers across Texas. Texas is defined as Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, San
Antonio, Houston, and East Texas. Tyrus managed a total of 41 Business Bankers, 6 SBA Off
icers, and 20 Business Banking Sales Assistants.
He was responsible for the development of local management teams, the growth of loan and
deposit portfolios across the state and partnering with other lines of business heads to deepen
relationships with existing customers to stimulate earnings growth for the Texas Bank.
Mr. Sanders served as Senior Vice President-Dallas Fort Worth Business Banking Sales
Manager- December 2006-November 2008

Internal Use

Managed Dallas/Ft. Worth Business Banking: responsible for delivery of credit deposit and other
banking services with Dallas/Ft. Worth market to business banking customers. He managed a
total of 14 Business Bankers in the Dallas and Ft. Worth market.
Responsible for leading the marketing activities, management of credit decisions, development
of senior lenders and junior bankers.
Mr. Sanders joined Regions Bank as City President Southern Dallas Commercial Banking
Sales Manager– September of 2004 to December of 2006
Responsible for calling on customers with annual sales between 5 million dollars and 50 million
dollars. In addition, he was responsible for leading the marketing and community activities in the
southern sector.
Prior to joining Regions Bank Tyrus Sanders served as Senior Vice President – Regional
Manager, St. Louis Business Banking
US Bank St. Louis, MO 2000-2004
Managed St. Louis Business Banking; responsible for delivery of credit, deposit, and other
banking services within the greater St. Louis market to business banking customers. Managed a
total of 27 Business Bankers in St. Louis and Illinois. Total loan portfolio of $275 Million,
deposits of $.5 Billion. Responsible for leading the marketing activity, management of credit
decision, development of senior lenders and junior bankers and development of credit policy.
Mr. Sanders started his career at Bank of America where he held several positions. Last
position held: Senior Vice President – South Dallas Banking Regional Executive
Bank of America Dallas, TX 1997- 2000
As Senior Vice President, responsible for total operations of 32 Banking Centers. Total loan
portfolio of $350 Million and $2.1 Billion in customer deposits. Scope of responsibility includes
selling financial services, business development, marketing strategies, and customer retention.
Manage, train, and motivate 550 staff personnel including 103 Sales Associates and 32 Banking
Center Managers. Actively manage a regional annual budget more than $35 Million.

  • Increased annual loan production to over $200 Million, increased yearly deposit portfolio
    by $336 Million and added 800-1,000 customers per month over the last two years.
  • Recognized as the top loan producer for the State of Texas.
  • Ranked among top three in credit card sales in the State of Texas; added $1 Million to
    the bottom-line.
  • Led the State in investment sales for 1999 (Money Manager Accounts).
  • Developed staff training programs to increase loan production within the region.
    SR. V.P. – Community Investment Regional Manager

    Responsible for developing small business housing and economic development
    programs for low and moderate customers throughout Texas, New Mexico, and
    Oklahoma.
  • Created interest rate programs to make home purchasing affordable. Bank of

  • Identified small business venture capital opportunities (Managed SBIC).
  • Worked closely with City Government to identify empowerment zones,
    community outreach opportunities, and implemented Federal Community Block
    Grant Funds.
